Mmmm porridge. I've never had it with eggs, I tend to have it with raw sugar and cinnamon and sometimes - rarely - teeny bit of milk.
I'm sorry to hear that you got misleading feedback; it wouldn't have killed her to be honest with you from the outset, and it's those sorts of mixed messages that got me out of the arting world on that side of things. :/
